I went to this place a couple of years ago and honestly fall in love with it!

The story behind this beautiful hidden spot in Oahu, Hi is just amazing. Shangri La museum was built in 1937, by American philanthropist Doris Duke’s (1912-1993). She was an extraordinary lady, who loved to travel throughout North Africa and Western, Central, South and Southeast Asia, and obviously Hawai`i.

Very little corner and objects here have a story. There is a Taj Mahal inspired wing, clearly influence of her travels to India. ….and the privilege Diamond Head ocean view is to die for…
